Togo Chasm, Niue Island

Hi, I’m Wendy.

I’m a marine biologist by training and a wanderer at heart.

This wandering fish sprouted gills at a young age and grew up to live and work in some incredible corners of our blue planet. I had the cushiest Peace Corps assignment ever on the Polynesian island of Niue, I did coral reef research on Midway, one of the most remote atolls on Earth, and I worked for a marine sanctuary on the lush and stunning tropical island of Tutuila.

It’s not all been sun and salt water – I love meeting people from different backgrounds, experiencing different cultures, and exploring spectacular natural landscapes, which has led me to adventures in some amazing and unique parts of the planet.

I started this website to share my experiences and help people chase their own dreams of travel, marine biology, and a more sustainable world.
